Using this will probably be frustrating if you're not me. It is built to do one specific thing and doesn't have any other features implemented. If you want to copy and modify my script, just use the "view page source" feature in your browser. Quick reference:
- "[2]" is an in-text citation, "[^2]: " goes in the bibliography, with a link, citation, or note after the colon. These will be automatically linked for easy navigation.
- You can also do [2, text here] but it will only pick up correctly if you have the comma and space before the text. This is intended for page numbers.
- Different highlight colours: {++ text ++}, {-- text --}, {== text ==}, {~~ old text ~> suggested change ~~}. Because of the way paragraphs work, there must not be linebreaks between the start and end tags of a highlight.
- Three hyphens followed by a linebreak will insert a horizontal rule.
- Labelled links: [Label](http://website.com)
- Unlabelled links: [http://website.com]. The http or https must be included.
- Otherwise it's pretty much regular markdown.
